~CHRISTMAS PROGRAM IS THIS THURSDAY~
I can’t wait!!! The kids have been working so hard and are ready to entertain you! The program is Thursday(12/7/23) at Fellowship Church! Doors open at 6pm and your child needs to be there by 6:10, please bring your child to me.
**The concert will start at 6:20!! Please take all your child’s belongings/coat and have them use the restroom before or right when you arrive!! **
Also at drop off be sure to pick up 2 gifts……
***I have a few packages we would like you to pick up at the church when you drop off your child before the program….one is a gift to you from your child. They are all wrapped and ready to be put under the tree, but instead of having your child bring them home on the bus, I like to hand them out at the program. Also, I have a Christmas present to give your son and daughter and feel like the Christmas program is the perfect opportunity to do this!!! Please give them permisson to open it and not save it for Christmas. I feel so blessed to work with such wonderful kids!!!! Merry Christmas and thanks for being so special to me!!!!!! xoxo****
Upcoming Kindergarten Holiday Activities
During the next 3 weeks we will be reading, writing, and doing math activities all gingerbread themed!!! I look forward to these magical days with your kids!!!!
If you signed up to bring something in for our party, you should have recieved an email. Please check the specific date for the items I requested! Thanks for your contributions! We sure appreciate it!
*Gingerbread House Project: All Donations due Friday, December 15!
We will be making gingerbread houses on Tuesday, December 19th at 2:30. We will be collecting donations of items we can use to decorate our houses over the next few days. Any kind of small candy works well…M&M’s, skittles, gum drops, chocolate chips, red hots, peppermints…as well as stick pretzels and fruit loops. If you can send something in, the kids will love using it to decorate their houses! Please have your donations in by Friday, December 15th so I can make sure we have enough supplies to decorate our houses! Thanks, as always, for you help!
*Tuesday, December 19 – Gingerbread House Decorating (student may invite one adult guest)
We will be decorating gingerbread houses on Tuesday, December 19 at 2:30. Your child may invite one person to join in on the fun, but it is not required. This will be a fun activity to help us get in the Christmas spirit! Plan to arrive at 2:30 for quick directions before we begin!
Also, we are asking all guests to bring along a batch of white frosting so that we can “hold things together.” Please buy a tub of white frosting at the store and bring it to school in a ziploc freezer baggie ready to use. Also all visitors need to be sure to have a background check complete.

Please fill out the paper copy that was sent home and send it back to school. I need to keep track of all people planning to come to make sure each vistor has a background check complete. Thank you!
*I am also looking for any volunteers to help glue graham crackers together for our houses. If you are willing, PLEASE email me and I will get you all the supplies you need! Really appreciate all your help!!!! xoxo
*Wednesday, December 20 – Trinkets need to be turned
DETAILS ON THE Trinket EXCHANGE:
We will be doing a gift exchange that is a bit different than usual. Each child will be given a Christmas bag and needs to buy “trinkets” to fill one another’s bag. These items should be very inexpensive and can be found at dollar stores. Each child will need to bring 18 of the same small “trinkets” to put in their classmates bag! This way every child will get 18 small gifts and everyone will get the same thing! Your child should bring their trinkets no later than Wednesday, December 20!! (You may send them in early.) Please send them in a bag labeled with your child’s name!!:) If purchasing these items is not an option for you, we would be happy to provide items for your child to pass out, just let us know!
